Biological Fly Control

When Nature Wins

Resistance

If resistance develops in the fly to the larvicide this will be transferred to the parastic wasp maggot and the wasp will survive.

Each farm is unique and we will develop the best fly management program for each farm, but as a guide, in a single age shed of 8000 layers with moderate fly levels you could use :

           1. 1 bag of wasps every 2 weeks for 3 months

           2. Then monthly depending on the challenge level

In broiler breeders a similar calculation can be made.

The wasps are very small and will remain at the level of the manure where their food supply is plentiful. They do not attack humans.
